With the Australian summer just around the corner, it’s time to strip it back and make it colourful. Welcoming the warmer months with their new ‘Outsiders’ collection, colour is the hero this summer at Hunting for George.
This light drenched range features bright emerald greens, rich cornflower blues and neon pinks. Designed to complement their pure cotton sateen bed linen this collection welcomes a selection of 100% cotton blankets into the range. Designed for multi use, these soft and snuggly blankets can be used as either a single bed quilt, queen bed throw or couch snuggler.
The gang of four; Louie, Benny, Faker and Chase are full of character and each have their own signature colour. Louie lets you wrap yourself in soft lemon citrus. Faker has a quiet combination of apricot, purple and ivory. Benny plunges head first into a dreamy emerald green. Chase packs a punch with pop pink and blue.
“We tend to refine our colour choices when designing bedlinen but for this blanket collection we really wanted to have fun and experiment with the colour palette. All these colours make us insanely happy and that’s the reaction we hope many people will have when they lay eyes on them.” Jo Harris, Hunting for George co-founder
“It became pretty obvious when designing this range that the hero was going to be colour. So we developed a subtle design layout to support this. Our structured grids add a beautiful dynamic to each blanket whilst also remaining uncomplicated and peaceful – everything that a home should be.” Lucy Glade-Wright, Hunting for George co-founder
Joining the blankets collection is the Fragments print, designed by Lucy Glade-Wright. This atmospheric print is inspired by the earth and it’s varying components. Textural geometric fragments float perfectly within its globe and instills calm to its surroundings. A subtle print that will happily suit any space.
The new Hunting for George cotton blankets retail at $179.00AUD and are online now.
