Annabelle and Kristian Jamieson are the clever duo behind Melbourne accessories brand, Bendo products. We first met the pair in 2015 when their inventive designs caught our eye. With a new kid on the block energy these two have shaped together a successful business from their shared passion for design, colour and affordability. Made from wire, Bendo creates clever storage solutions for your home. Their range includes the humble egg cup, woof dog bowl and our favourite vino wine rack.

1. What did you want to be when you grew up?
KJ: I’ll let you know when I get there.
AJ: I wanted to be an actress just like my auntie. She was so awesome. The thought of this is now my biggest nightmare!
2. When and what was the moment that prompted you to start your own brand?
It’s been a dream for many years but it was a weekend at Phillip Island inspired by a giant, fluro, chicken wire elephant that tipped us over the edge.

4. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Go for it”

Good tunes and a weekend ahead

Double denim and socks with crocs (not at the same time)
9. Do you have any hidden talents?
KJ: I make a mean martini
10. What was the last movie you saw and was it any good?
KJ: The Revenant – it was awesome
AJ: Entourage. I stopped half way it was terrible. Sleep was a preference
