The latest edit of Hunting for George bed linen is all about refined essentials and centres around simplicity. “We focused on establishing core base colours and worked with minimalist patterns that can be continually referenced and added to. The premium quality of Hunting for George bedlinen is continued in this new release. Our softer than soft 100% pure cotton sateen is a thing of dreams and all sheets are quality tested and free from harmful chemicals. “Just ask our customers how soft our sheets are! We receive incredible feedback on the quality of our cotton and we pride ourselves on the high quality and detail of all our bedlinen.” says Lucy.
The creative direction behind the Classics campaign is particularly minimal and presents a slightly different tone than what we have created in the past. Inspired by the need to switch off, this collection creates a calm and intimate environment in order to do so.
“We are more engaged than ever before: watching, listening, liking, commenting, sharing. We’re overtly conscious and always on. The direction around this campaign was motivated through my desire to switch off and in the end I chose to create the bedroom that I most needed in my life. A space that encouraged calm and a place where I could reset from the busy day, switch off and be present.” Lucy Glade-Wright.
Eskimo Shuffle
The hero of the collection is the Eskimo Shuffle Quilt Cover Set featuring muted, warm grey tones with subtle white detailing. This quilt set is designed to partner with either the Eskimo Sheet Set or Smoke Sheet Set. The Eskimo Sheet Set features a matching charcoal pattern on a bright white cotton and combines to create a fresh, bright aesthetic. Whereas the Smoke Sheet Set features a barely there cool grey, so when styled with the Eskimo Shuffle it brings a softer, more tonal look.

Yes your favourite bed sheets are now back in stock! The Eskimo Sheet Set is the ultimate design for those that like subtle texture. Its irregular dots provide the perfect amount of pattern and its white piping detail is another subtle design element that will make you smile. Makes the perfect companion to any quilt cover.
Smoke
The only sheets you will ever need! A new release of the Smoke Sheet Set is back. This barely there grey will go with everything! These sheets (and all our sheets) are designed to last and will stand the test of time.
Mr & Mrs Smith
A new release of the much loved Mr & Mrs Smith Quilt Cover Set is also back by popular demand. This reversible design features washed out grey navy and light pink together with white piping detail. Truly reversible, you can switch between navy or pink, as all our quilt covers feature a hidden button closure. This quilt has been designed to partner with either the Eskimo Sheet Set or Smoke Sheet Set.
Our bedlinen is made from 100% Pure Cotton Sateen. Cotton Sateen features a different weave to traditional cotton: the satin weave, is made from treated cotton fibres. Up close, sateen appears to have a diagonal weave effect. It aims to combine the soft, smooth, luxurious feel of satin with the strength and durability of cotton. Cotton sateen has a subtle sheen to its look and it drapes beautifully over your bed (as you can see from these pictures). All our cotton sateen is 400 thread count, quality tested and free from harmful chemicals.
All of the Classic designs are available in Euro Pillowcases, sold individually. The European sized pillowslips measure 60 x 60cm. With an open fold closure, you can use as a pillowslip or cushion cover if you prefer.
Whilst all our Quilt Cover Sets come complete with 2 matching pillowcases, every design is also available in Standard Pillowcase Sets, sold in sets of 2. The standard sized pillowcases measure 50cm x 70cm.
