We just can’t seem to get enough of Melbourne based Architecture firm FIGR, paired with Ruth Welsby‘s eye for interiors it would be wrong not to feature this Oakover Road house. The wood panelling throughout this entire home neatly frame the carefully curated collection of Hunting for George favourites while the high angled ceiling playfully sits above family life. The understated nature of this family home feels somewhat Japanese, as wood contracts with pure white walls and purposeful greenery distracts the eye from the wood that surrounds the home. FIGR are perfectionists when it comes to the collaboration process between client and architect. From design process to building completion FIGR make use of natural light as well as blurring the conventional lines between courtyard and living room space.
Pop and Scott pots sit neatly against the wooden walls paired with our Dr Seuss Print and These Walls cushions. Coloured details placed against the white and red toned backdrop balances the clean lines and ceilings.
