Not only was she a pioneer of the music industry with pipes are strong as steel but she was a champion for women everywhere. She lifted us up, she pushed us forward and gave us strength to believe in ourselves. I am sad to hear that you have left this world Aretha. Thank you for being my mood, my sister’s mood and every single woman’s mood ever! You were a gift and may you rest in peace.
