1. What did you want to be when you were a little ‘un?
Probably a million things! But mostly a vet, an artist, a florist, a national champion rower.. my brother has achieved that last one instead haha

2. What made you decide to start your own brand?
I graduated from Design School into a recession so there were no jobs. The jobs that were around had 100+ people applying so I didn’t get a job very easily. I just decided I might as well do something creative in the meantime so I started with 4 gift cards and prints, dropping samples to stores and have grown from there!

3. How would you describe your style of work?
I think it’s a bit quirky. I like to do things that are a bit different. Lots of bright colours and silly things that seem to make people laugh which is always nice!

4. What is the best and worst thing about being a designer?
The best thing is being able to do something you really enjoy and it’s even better seeing other people love your stuff too! The worst thing is always wanting more time between my job, my brand and everything else.. it never seems like enough time in a day.

5. What is your favourite creative outlet?
Painting is fun. I don’t manage to do a lot of it now but I like it. Sometimes just going to sit at the water or walk in the bush can be quite inspiring.

6. There’s got to be something you’re shit at? What can’t you do?
I can’t lip read and often find I can’t control the volume of my own voice haha ask my friends.

7. What are your top 5 websites/blogs at the moment and what makes them stand out?
I love all these blogs, mainly because they are awesome. Every time I check them out I see more thing I want for my house that I don’t have yet!

9. So in the next couple of years your brand takes off like a rocket, multi million dollar offers start coming though the door. Do you stick with it? Sell out? Start again? What and where will you end up in 10 years time?
Ohhhh yaya! Makin it rain! Haha but I think I would be sticking with it and employing staff to help me out. I will have expanded my product range by this point as well to all sorts of awesome things. There will still be some llamas lurking around of course.

10. What song or album are you currently listening to and is it any good?
Lorde. It’s pretty awesome!

We love Alice Berry for her quirky and fun attitude she has towards her art. Her trio of llama prints and hilarious ice cream series definitely shows her fun sense of humour and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
