Turns out having a meth cook as a father can give you some serious street cred. RJ Mitte, who played Walt’s son on the crazy good (and sadly over) tv series Breaking Bad… is now one of the new faces of GAP. Alongside a group of emerging, young creatives such as rapper Theophilus London, singer-songwriters Anna Calvi, Birdy and Ernest Greene, photographer Lina Schneyniu and actress Julia Garner.
This new campaign ‘Lived In’ was under the direction of newly appointed CD Rebekka Bay who wanted to simply the GAP brand. “I just want to take it back, really. I think Gap has always been the greatest iconic American casualwear brand, and that’s really what I want it to be. I want to own super casual, iconic pieces and be the go-to brand for the wardrobe — almost like building blocks.”
Well Rebekka. I dig it. And lets just say I wasn’t a Walt Junior fan until now.
